Having been born and raised in Vancouver, being in close proximity to the ocean has always been something I appreciated and along with friends and family, has been one of the many reasons I was drawn back to Vancouver since completing my Physiotherapy Masters Degree at Queens University in 2013.
I have now been working over ten years as a Physiotherapist in Vancouver and have loved every minute of it. Whether it is channeling back to my early years as a dancer and cheerleader with Team Canada, relating to prenatal and post partum challenges, or simply understanding the importance of pain free daily activity, I truly enjoy connecting with and doing my best to help every client I work with. Over the years, my clinical toolkit has gained skills in advanced manual therapy, dry needling, vestibular and concussion management and exercise prescription. I work closely with a number of professionals in the area including chiropractors, massage therapists, naturopaths, kinesiologists, osteopaths and personal trainers and value collaborating with them to create a holistic and personalized treatment plan.
When I’m not in the office, I am typically chasing around my two little munchkins, running on the seawall or planning our next family vacation. Relationships, traveling and health are my non-negotiables and theres nothing better than sharing these values with like-minded individuals.
